Last night was sooo crazy. First we went go carting at this one indoor
track... fucking Jose beat my best time by like .18 seconds... what a
fucking bitch! But it was really fun tho. The only thing is that it
costs like 25 bucks for 10-15 minutes of driving... but still soo worth
it.
After that we went to broadway and drank a bit at midnight. Then we
went to mike's work. If i have any advice for you all, then this is it:
Dont celebrate your birthday at a strip club that your homeboy works
at! Haha it was crazy... Mike had the DJ have all the strippers come on
stage all lined up. Then he had the girls put a chair up next to the
pole.
Then he said to the crowd "We're gonna play a
game... if I call your name, you gotta go up on stage and sit in the
chair"... then guess who the first name was... "Jesse, please head to
the stage". I said to myself "shit!, i hope there's another Jesse in
here..." cuz i've seen what they do to guys up there. But alas i had to
get up there and get tied to the pole with my shirt off... they wanted
to take off my pants, but i wasnt goin out like a punk... Then he had
all the strippers give me lap dances one by one.. sound cool, right?
Honestly, it was, but then those strippers were rough! plus there were
rules... if i got a stiffie then i'd have to buy everyone drinks... but
I survived
Anyways, gotta go to work

| Holy shit, i was looking at some pictures i took the other night, and then i was like OH SHIT! his shirt says frisco!!!....
it took me forever to find a frisco shirt in san francisco... i have NO
IDEA how he got that shit out here in japan! BTW, even the guys who try

| Ok, not that anyone reads my xanga anyways, but i feel guilty having
not done an updaye in nearly a billion years... So here we go...
I've been in japan for about 3 months, and its really hard to explain
how i feel about the country, so i wont.... but this is kinda how it
works: Western culture has been open to foreigners for hundreds of
years (if not as citizens, for trade). People intermingling and sharing
their cultures and such. Hence, if you see a hindi person walking down
the street, you think to yourself "hey, that looks like a hindi person"
HOWEVER prior to 1870, japan was closed to outside interaction.
completely. It takes time to mold a culture from something that
secludes foreigners into something that embraces them... and japan isnt
there yet. Maybe in about 15-20 years japan will be more welcoming, but
not so much now.. (maybe less [inter-culture barriers are getting raped
by technology])
This is not to say that i dont have any friends here... i got buttloads... just look...
And this guy is pretty cool too...
But there is definetely a division. I have to work twice as hard to
make male friends and half as hard to make female friends (as long as i
dont tell them that i have a girlfriend)
I think the girl thing has to do with the fact that japanese girls like
foreigners... amazingly enough. They really just want to live in a different
lifestyle. For example, Ayano (gf) always wants to eat a bowl of cereal
for breakfast, and we go to starbucks all the time. But if i were to
ask her if she wanted to rent a japanese movie instead of one made in
america, she would probably say no. By the way this is ayano...
sorry the picture kinda sucks... its one of like 2 i have, and in the
other one, i dont look nearly as cool. And im not reppin the bay.
Oh yeah, and everyone smokes here. Mostly young people, but i would say
theat everytime i go out with japanese people, around 11 out of 12
would be smokers. And cigarettes cost less than 3 dollars and are sold
in vending machines EVERYWHERE (hotels, bars, in front of elementary
schools, etc..)
But yeah, imma quit when i get home.
Oh, back to what i was saying (typing) about how the girls are easy to
meet. Before i said: "I think the girl thing has to do with the
fact that japanese girls like foreigners... amazingly enough."
I say "amazingly enough" because you should see the foreign guys that
come to
japan. Oh god! For some reason, Japan has a way of attracting the
whackest people i have ever seen in my life. Oh man, and you should see
when these guys pretend to be japanese by walking around in kimonos and
such. Oh yeah, and its really funny to see a group of foreigners talk
amongst themselves in really crappy japanese, and think that this
somehow makes them become japanese. I mean really, just use your mother
toungue... who cares??!? And I can't even begin to explain how many
guys i have seen who look like this..

It's really a shame. Im not hating on people for being ugly. And im not
jealous, but the point is that these people are disrupting the natural
flow of the universe.
I feel bad that these women that are so desperate for a foreigner that they go for these whack-McWhacksters.
I also feel bad for these loser-ass guys who come all the way over to
live here just so they can have a hot girlfriend who is in love with an
ideal rather than her man for who he is
I feel bad for the scores of really cool japanese guys who have to be
shamed by seeing their beautiful women go to a fucking loser.
Seriously, if you come out here just to have a hot girlfriend,
most guys will see right through that, and you prolly wont have any guy
friends. Then, since you are already in a relationship, most girls wont
talk to you either... and on top of that, its not these guys'
culture and they dont really speak the language, so they are forced to
be outsiders for the rest of their lives. Seriously, they should stay
home and live *happier lives. It truly is kinda sad tho...
So yeah, imma leave it at that for to night... got myself all worked up and such..
